Secret Santa or Kris Kringle: what's the difference?

None: they're two names for the same game. Everyone draws the person they'll give a gift to, within the agreed budget, and keeps it secret until the exchange.

Do my participants need an account?

No. Only the organiser creates an account. Each participant gets their match by email, without signing up.

How many participants do I need?

Three at least. You can add or remove participants at any time; after the draw, a change cancels it and you simply run it again.

Can I redo the draw?

Yes. Running it again cancels the current matches, and everyone gets their new match by email.

Does the organiser know who drew whom?

No. Each match is sent to its recipient alone: nobody else sees it, not even the organiser.

Is it really free?

Yes. The free plan includes two Secret Santas, plus three Christmas groups with ten gifts per wishlist.

What about wishlists?

Givenly also offers Christmas groups: everyone adds their wishlist, and the others reserve a gift without the recipient seeing it. In a group, each member creates an account.
